Canada's Steam Era
ADOPT AN ENGINE
There are a number of volunteer steam enthusiasts who have brought their determination and dedication to restore and recreate the legacy of the age of steam in Ontario with the Museum. One such remarkable achievement is the complete guided restoration of a full size steam traction locomotive. The locomotive was originally manufactured by George White & Sons of London Ontario. After years of painstaking research, renovation and restoration the project was completely brought back to life in 2008. Since that time "Greg's" engine has appeared across Ontario at live steam festivals and civic parades and hauling the "people mover" has brought the legacy and memories of steam to so many people.
